A weekend [in outfits] v.4

Stripes
Dress & purse- Target, Necklace - DIY by me!, Shoes- Dolce Vida, still rocking the Essie Clambake polish

Lots of baking and face time with friends this weekend. Brinner (breakfast for dinner) party Friday!! Every work week should end like this. It was a great low-key way to spend an evening in. There was an epically delicious breakfast casserole from Leigh (I've been eating the leftovers all weekend, so good!!!) and I made Emma's Banana Nut Monkey Bread. It was my first time making monkey bread; it's so easy and fun to make! I think I'll definitely be doing it again.
There was also some bbq-ing with friends, way too many chocolate chip cookies, and lots of jewelry making. Check out the fun DIY from Honestly WTF that we tried out. I'd say it was a success! The heat did start to creep back up this weekend, just enough so to really bring the mosquitoes out. Not too bad though, I guess I can't really complain. The only thing is I've been stocking up on fall duds and i want to break them out so bad!!! Wearing sweaters and shorts is one of my favorite combos. So far I haven't been able to pull it off without breaking a sweat mid day. But I feel my time is coming. What cool weather combos are ready to break out?
Side note, this was the first weekend in a while that I felt pretty... relaxed. I didn't have anything looming over my head, and the things that were on my to do list I didn't let rule my whole weekend. I'm not sure how I did it but I need to figure how to emulate that feeling again. I think this is how every weekend should feel yes?
