Our weekend on Magazine St. Abode

Highlight of our stay in New Orleans - Lauren and Patrick's gorgeous nuptials. But there was also some fun tipsy bowling, girl time, window shopping, and of course some serious eating. The weather was perfect, great for walking up and down Magazine St (which is where the house we rented was also located). Major plug for we used this site to book our stay. They rent out condos, guest houses, apartments, etc. We rented the bottom floor apartment of an old house right on Magazine St. It wasn't anything fancy but there was so much space and a great way to go if you are with a small group wanting to room together. The price was also much lower than area hotels, especially for renting on a holiday weekend (NYE weekend). The moral of the tale - great experience with Airbnb, super fun, you should try it.

The gorgeous couple. It was one of the most stunning wedding I have ever had the pleasure of attending. Their last name is Holstein, hence the cows on the cake, how cute right?!

Lovely houses on Magazine

Rehearsal Dinner at Rock N' Bowl!!

Rock n bowling

We found this pretty vintage store on Magazine (can't remember the name)

I could have lived in  this store

Every coffee shop should have a fooseball table (that's what its called, right?)

If it ain't broke don't fix it! We had breakfast at the same place two days in a row. Surrey's is amazing. Get some fresh squeezed juice, just do it.

Some details from the kitchen at our rental

How fun! I may be going there for Mardi Gras, and I'm SO excited :) The wedding looks like it was beautiful - and tipsy bowling is the only type of bowling I know.

Mardi Gras in New Orleans is definitely something that every one should experience at least once. It still blows me away everytime
