In B.R. when the weather begins to turn amazingly delightful, it's time to go to Beerfest! I think what makes me love it so much it that it's on the LSU Rural Life Museum grounds, which is pretty much what it sounds like. Cows wandering around, old sheds and barns, antique equipment and pretty botanical gardens scattered about make for pretty dreamy setting for sipping some yummy brews. The homebrew stands are where it's at at. Imagine brews like Choco Taco, Holy Mole and Coconut Porter, I even tried a nacho flavored beer this year (that's right). Seriously though, how can you go wrong.... warm sun, free potato chips, and a bottomless cup of exotic brews....It was a Saturday well spent.

St. Patty's Day is a pretty fun holiday in our neighborhood. It's kind of an extension of Mardi Gras. Lots of interesting characters roaming the streets, a big parade, and nearly every near by business is hosting a party of some sorts. We kept our partying to the backyard with some hotdogs and cocktails, but before that started I did walk down to the parade just in time to see Peyton ride by on a float with some friends (can you guys find in the pic below?) This holiday marks the unofficial start to spring and I couldn't be happier. I'm ready for some sunshine and lighter layers!!! This time last year I was in Austin for SXSW, and it was pretty magical. I'm super jealous of all of you that attended!! I'm already thinking of maybe booking a place for next year.........I don't think I can stand to miss it again.

Hi hi!! Just dropping in to share this amazing music video from Sucre that I just can't get over. Eisley fans will recognize Stacy Dupree King, Sucre is a collaboration between Stacy, her husband Darren King (from Mutemath), and the amazing Jeremy Larson. Sucre also has a gorgeous blog you should check out here. Need i say more....the styling of this video is one of the most breathtaking things I've seen in a while. Enjoy!

The winds of change are blowing around these parts. This fickle in-between weather has been calling for a combo of breezy tops with easy to shed layers lately. To me it seems like the perfect reason to indulge in my recent tuxedo blazer obsession. I'm a sucker for any article of clothing that classes up a pair of jeans and moto boots. I hope these boots can make the transition from cold to warm weather because I don't plan on taking these babies off any time soon. (I might be a little obsessed.)
